Fromhost rsyslog

WebRsyslog has support for configuration checking. It offers a special command line switch (-N< value >) that puts it into “config verification mode”. In that mode, it interprets and checks the configuration file, but does not startup. This mode can be used in parallel to a running instance of rsyslogd. The value is a set of binary values.
