WebAug 16, 2008 · The Spartan is a traditional chassis with inboard placement of the air bags. The Roadmaster has outboard placement of the air bags which is why it handles and corners so very well. The Roadmaster also has several different air bag configurations. The RR4R has the traditional 4 bag 4 shock system which is found on their entry level DP's. WebDec 28, 2003 · I believe that the 2003 and earlier Knights had the R4R chassis and that the RR4R chassis was adopted for the 2004 model year. In my test drives so far I have found the RR4R on a 38' chassis to be remarkably close in ride and handling to the RR8R on 38' chassis. The 40' RR8R is a bit smoother, though all are quite good.
